Credentia (operated by Credentia Healthcare Technologies LLC, “we,” “our,” or “the Platform”) provides digital technology infrastructure connecting enrolled medical students, house officers, and clinical trainees (“Students” or “Observers”) with accredited Egyptian healthcare centers, specialized medical clinics, and licensed physician preceptors (“Preceptors” or “Healthcare Partners”).

All programs listed on Credentia are strictly non-interventional educational observerships. The purpose of each rotation is limited exclusively to clinical shadowing, grand rounds observation, diagnostic review, and theoretical case discussions under the direct supervision of an attending consultant.

Applying to observership programs on Credentia is completely free of charge. Observers pay placement fees only after their application is reviewed, accepted, and approved by the hosting clinical preceptor.

• Currency: All fees are stated in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) and securely processed via accredited Egyptian payment gateway Paymob.
• Capacity Limits: To maintain strict clinical mentoring quality, each program maintains a strict maximum capacity limit per cohort block (typically 1 to 3 students).
• Automated Overcapacity Protection: If simultaneous payment submissions result in a cohort overcapacity event, the system locks confirmed seats on a first-to-confirm basis. Any excess payment is automatically assigned to our administrative operations queue for an immediate 100% full refund or cohort rescheduling guarantee.

In compliance with Egyptian Consumer Protection Law (Law No. 181 of 2018), Credentia maintains the following structured refund schedule:

• Clinic Cancellation: If a hosting healthcare center or preceptor cancels an accepted program before commencement, the student receives an immediate 100% full refund.
• Student Cancellation (> 7 days prior to start): Eligible for a 90% refund (10% retained for payment processor transaction fees).
• Student Cancellation (≤ 7 days prior to start or during rotation): Non-refundable due to reserved preceptor time and blocked cohort capacity, barring documented medical emergencies.
• Attendance Standards: Students must satisfy the preceptor's minimum attendance threshold (typically 80% of scheduled clinical days) to qualify for completion evaluations and verifiable certification.

All healthcare clinics and individual preceptors undergo mandatory manual administrative verification by Credentia prior to publishing programs. Participating preceptors warrant and certify that:

• They are licensed Egyptian medical specialists or consultants registered in good standing with the Egyptian Medical Syndicate and Ministry of Health.
• They maintain appropriate professional malpractice coverage and safe outpatient/inpatient facilities compliant with national infection control standards.
• They provide objective, professional attendance evaluations reflecting the observer's true engagement, clinical professionalism, and code of conduct.

Credentia operates a specialized healthcare recruitment and candidate discovery pipeline (“Talent Cloud”) connecting high-performing medical candidates with verified healthcare facilities:

• Candidate Opt-In Sovereignty: Candidate profiles and clinical interest data are featured in institutional placement searches only when the student explicitly activates the “Open to Placement & Opportunities” toggle in their profile settings. Students may withdraw consent or update residency preferences at any time.
• Verified Institution Access: Only healthcare facilities, hospital departments, and preceptors holding verified status (“verified”) following administrative validation may access detailed candidate evaluations or submit formal recruitment inquiries.
• Evaluation Scorecard Integrity & Fellow Designation: Clinical assessments (evaluating Diagnostic Acumen, Bedside Manner, Punctuality, and Consultant Endorsement) are completed directly by supervising preceptors. The “Verified Fellow” honors badge is calculated deterministically for candidates maintaining a preceptor performance rating ≥ 4.5/5.0 with unanimous consultant recommendation.
• Data Protection & Permitted Use: In compliance with Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020), candidate information obtained via placement inquiries must be held in strict confidence and used exclusively for bona fide clinical training, residency, fellow, or sub-internship recruitment.
